Lightly floating on a heaving wave, this timber vessel is simple in form, reminiscent of Inuit carvings. The kayak can be arranged in several orientations and angles on the base, so you can change the form of the sculpture.
This sculpture can be produced in another iteration but being handmade, it will be different. I would be happy to discuss how it could differ if you are considering asking me to make a unique one for you.
Materials: Australian Hoop Pine. The finish is an eco-friendly, waterborne stain. The base has a wax finish.
